You know what’s kind of beautiful?

rissalady:

In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”

I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.

Songe apres songe tu me manques.

This is about all the bad days in the world. I used to have some little bad days and I kept them in a little box. And one day, I threw them out into the yard. “Oh, it’s just a couple little innocent bad days.” Well, we had a big rain. I don’t know what it was growing in, but I think we used to put eggshells out there and coffee grounds, too. Don’t plant your bad days. They grow into weeks. The weeks grow into months. Before you know it you got yourself a bad year. Take it from me. Choke those little bad days. Choke ‘em down to nothin’. They’re your days. Choke ‘em! Tom Waits (via julie911)

When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too. Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist)

I feel my life is so scattered right now. Like it’s all these small pieces of paper and someone’s turned on the fan. But talking to you makes me feel like the fan’s been turned off for a little bit. Like things could actually make sense. You completely unscatter me, and I appreciate that so much. David Levithan & John Green, Will Grayson, Will Grayson (via bookmania)

The moment you stop to think about whether you love someone, you’ve already stopped loving that person forever.

Carlos Ruiz Zafon (The Shadow of the Wind)

My biggest fear is that you question me. My biggest hope, it that you question her.
